We target 99.5% availability, but outages can still occur. Plan backups for mission-critical listening sessions.

1. Introduction

Overview

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of Muzes Music Bot ("Bot", "Service", "we", "our", or "us"). By using the Bot, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you must immediately stop using the Bot.

The Bot is provided by the Muzes Team, headquartered in Warsaw, Poland. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time.

2. Acceptance of Terms

Eligibility

By inviting, using, or interacting with the Muzes Music Bot, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or meet the minimum age requirement in your jurisdiction), you have read and understood these Terms, and you accept that changes to the Terms take effect immediately upon publication.

3. Description of Service

Capabilities

The Muzes Music Bot provides music-focused utilities inside Discord, including:

  • Streaming music from platforms such as YouTube, Spotify, Deezer, Apple Music, Yandex Music, and others.
  • Playing uploaded audio files directly in Discord servers.
  • Managing queues, playlists, and playback controls.
  • Integrating with third-party services (e.g., YouTube, SoundCloud) to play content via Discord.

4. User Responsibilities

Mandatory

Users agree to the following responsibilities:

  • Comply with all applicable laws while using the Bot.
  • Respect the rights of third-party content providers, including artists and platforms.
  • Avoid misusing the Bot for harmful or illegal purposes, including sharing pirated content.
  • Ensure server configurations allow proper operation of the Bot.

5. Prohibited Activities

Critical

The following activities are expressly forbidden:

  • Uploading, streaming, or sharing pirated, copyrighted, or illegal content.
  • Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the Bot.
  • Using the Bot to spam or overload servers.
  • Violating intellectual property rights of third parties.
  • Disrupting, harming, or damaging the Bot, other users, or Discord itself.

6. License and Restrictions

Legal

Your license to use the Bot is limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable, and is subject to the restrictions below:

  • Do not modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Bot without explicit permission.
  • Do not exploit the Bot for commercial purposes unless authorized.
  • Do not violate applicable laws, third-party rights, or these Terms.

7. Third-Party Services

Integrations

The Bot integrates with third-party services such as YouTube, Spotify, and Deezer. By using the Bot, you agree to follow the terms of those services.

Muzes is not responsible for outages, changes, or policy updates originating from third-party platforms or APIs.

8. Bot Availability and Updates

Operations

The Bot is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

We may update, modify, suspend, or terminate any feature at any time for maintenance, technical, or operational reasons.

9. Data Privacy

Data

Your use of Muzes is subject to our Privacy Policy. Review it carefully to understand how we collect, store, and process data. Continued use constitutes acceptance of both documents.

10. Termination

Notice

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Bot if you violate these Terms or engage in illegal, harmful, or disruptive activities.

11. Limitation of Liability

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Muzes will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Bot.

12. Amendments

Updates

We reserve the right to amend or update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Bot after changes go live constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Any disputes will be resolved under Polish jurisdiction.

Where possible, disputes should first be addressed through direct communication with the Muzes Team.
