/play — start or extend the current music session.
Search by title and artist or provide a supported URL, then add the resolved result to your Discord queue.
The play command handles the most important Muzes workflow. It acknowledges the interaction, resolves a playable item through a healthy source and creates or reuses the player for your voice channel.
Text search
Use a title, artist or descriptive query without finding a link first.
Supported URLs
Paste a direct track or playlist URL that matches an enabled source workflow.
Queue-aware
The first track starts and later results are placed in the active queue.
Useful failures
No-results, missing voice access and unavailable-node errors are returned as distinct states.
Why does Muzes need me to join voice first?
Using your current channel prevents the bot from joining an unexpected room and supports same-voice security checks.
Why was a Spotify track matched to another source?
Spotify supplies supported metadata; audio is resolved through a compatible playback source.
Can I add a whole playlist?
Supported playlist links can be loaded within safety and plan limits. Use the playlist guide for saved and collaborative libraries.
